The Nord Triple Pedal is the perfect pedal for your Nord Stage 2 and Nord Piano. This pedal adds extra functionality to your Nord, and you profit from the Dynamic Pedal Noise for even more authentic piano playing. You'll notice right away that the subtlety and dynamics of your playing are really taken to a higher level, compared with standard piano pedals. So if you're looking for more than a simple sustain pedal, you need this Nord Triple pedal!
Triple Pedal: Characteristics
The Nord Triple Pedal offers unmatched functionality, with the addition of a Pedal Noise function that reproduces the sounds a mechanical pedal would make during use. Along with that, you also get the option of half-pedaling, release and catch technology. The right pedal is the sustain pedal, which you can use for sustaining notes. When you use this pedal with an acoustic grand or piano, many different sounds are produced by the mechanic components. A number of those sounds can be reproduced by the Nord Stage 2 piano, and then edited with the pedal.
The left pedal is the soft pedal, the Una Corda. When you press down on this pedal, all of the notes you play are dampened and have a slightly more restrained tonal quality. Finally, the middle pedal is the Sostenuto, and works on selected notes, allowing other notes to remain unchanged. Only the notes you play at the moment that the pedal is pressed down will be supported; other notes that you play while the pedal is pressed down will not take on the pedal effect.

Heb dit pedaal gekocht vanwege de rubbermat en het hogere gewicht zodat het niet meer weg schuift op een gladde vloer. Dat werkt uitstekend. Ook mooi is het extra geluid van de dempers wat je hoort als je op je Nord piano speelt, hoewel het niet veel toevoegt, maar dat kan ook aan mijn speelniveau liggen :-). Pittige prijs, maar dat zijn we wel gewend van Nord (en toch koop je het).
Zeer handig en stevig pedaal.
Mooi dat je met een Nord Piano of Stage veel
meer detail in je voetenwerk kan steken.
Van de 5 sterren trek ik er ééntje van af omdat ik
het met zijn 175euro toch wel duur vind.

This triple pedal does make the difference if you have a Nord board. Highly recommend if you can afford it, and the Bax Music price was amazing.
